Coastal storms arrive in Greenland heavy and wet, the ocean warming them just enough to fatten the flakes and double the weight on a shovel. Northern Tier works that weather along the Route 33 corridor: plowing, sanding, cutting drives back to their full width, squaring off walks by hand, then treating them again before the afternoon melt refreezes at dusk. The green half of the year is mowing, trimming and cleanups on those same properties, from the town common out toward the Portsmouth line. Two kinds of work, one map, and the same attention either way, with no half-cleared apron and no ragged edge left behind. White ground or green, the aim is a property somebody can simply walk out onto and use.
