Great Bay Property Maintenance

About Great Bay Property Maintenance

The morning starts with a pull-cord and a warm-up idle, the mower deck settling into its line, hands adjusting a trimmer's angle by feel before the first pass along a stone wall — this is the working rhythm of Great Bay Property Maintenance, a lawn care and snow removal outfit in Greenland, New Hampshire. Here the tide comes up the Winnicut and the salt marsh light lies flat over the fields, and a lawn cut clean to its edges gives that ground a shape you can read from the road. Winter answers with a different sound: the plow's low scrape at four in the morning, the long push down a driveway, banks stacked back off the pavement so a car can slip out to Route 33 while the estuary is still dark. There is real satisfaction in what the work leaves behind — the crisp border, the swept walk, the yard that keeps its season without fuss. Greenland and the towns around it hold that care well, week after week.
