About Thomas Landscaping

Out past the Epsom Circle the dooryards widen, and the stone walls go running off under the sugar maples while the roads — Route 4, the lanes that bend down toward the Suncook — keep their own unhurried shape. Thomas Landscaping tends the lawns along them, cutting even stripes across the green months and turning to the plow when the hills go pale and the driveways need opening before the sky is light. There is a plain satisfaction in the results: the crisp edge along a walkway, pavement laid bare and dark by dawn, a yard that looks looked-after from the road. It is outdoor work, done in Epsom and the towns near it, where the light comes down between low mountains and river bottom and every season asks for something different.
