About Atlantic Excavating, LLC

Winter comes to Durham off the water first. Down Durham Point Road the marsh grass stiffens into silver wire and Little Bay goes flat and pewter under the first hard cold, and that is the signal to hook up the plow. Atlantic Excavating, LLC opens driveways and parking areas here while the town is still dark, banking snow back where it belongs and salting the shaded corner that always glazes over. There is a real satisfaction in a dooryard cleared wide enough that the first car out never has to hesitate. Storm after storm, the road down to the point stays open.
