About Twin Gates Landscaping, LLC

There is a week in Dover when the last of the leaf litter along the Cocheco has been carted off and the first hard frost stiffens the grass, and the work simply turns its shoulder — mowers put away, plow frames bolted on. Twin Gates Landscaping keeps lawns cut, trimmed and edged through the long green months, when the light comes late over Garrison Hill and the mill brick holds the afternoon warm. Then winter arrives off Great Bay with its damp coastal weight, and the trucks are out before the streetlights quit, opening driveways and walkways so a Dover morning can get where it's going. What's left behind is plain and deeply satisfying: a clean line where turf meets pavement in July, a drive scraped down to bare asphalt in January, a yard that holds whatever season it happens to be wearing.
