About Snow Pro

Snow on this stretch of the Seacoast arrives wet and heavy, pushed up the Piscataqua on an east wind and laid over Dover in the blue half-dark, long before the brick mill faces along the Cocheco catch any sun. Snow Pro works that hour — the first pass down a driveway, the banks squared off, the walk cut clean to the pavement so the morning can simply begin. There is a plain pleasure in the result: a turnaround opened wide enough to swing a truck through, an apron scraped to a dark stripe while the rest of the street still lies white and untouched. Dover and the towns around it come awake to find the work already done, which is rather the whole point of it.
