About Rocky Brook Property Services LLC

A gravel drive graded true holds its crown right through mud season — water sheds off to the ditch line, the washboard is gone, and the road runs flat and quiet under the tires. That is the sort of result Rocky Brook Property Services LLC leaves behind on the hill roads of Dorchester, where the woods press close and the brooks come down hard off the ridges every spring. The work fills the year: new gravel roads and driveways, repairs and erosion fixes, loads of sand, stone, ledge pack, loam, compost and mulch backed in by the yard, hydroseeded slopes that green over and hold the soil where it belongs, and fields and trails brush hogged back before they close in. Then winter arrives in central New Hampshire, the plow goes on, and a dooryard is opened up in the dark long before the day begins. It is physical work on land that gives nothing away, and every finished job reads plainly on the ground — a drained road, a cut edge, a property that keeps its shape.
