North Point Outdoors works out of Derry, New Hampshire, a town of stone walls and apple hills where Beaver Brook runs past old shoe-mill brick and the granite never sits far below the grass. Their hands are in all of it: landscape design and construction, hardscape and softscape installation, irrigation, turf care, low landscape lighting, and the long ongoing maintenance that keeps a property looking cared for in July and in January alike. There is real satisfaction in what that leaves behind — a mowing line drawn straight across a slope, a walkway set true into the ground, sprinklers ticking through a dry August evening, a lot scraped down to black pavement and salted while the porch lights are still the only lights on. Snow and ice management runs the other half of the calendar, the hours when Derry is asleep and the plow beam is the only thing moving on the road. They cover New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts, and they belong to the same weather as the people they work for.
