About Eco-Smart Landscaping

Derry's light comes in low and long over the drumlin hills, and the ground underneath is half granite — old walls threading the treelines, ledge sitting just below the sod. Eco-Smart Landscaping works with that grain: an Organic Turf Care Program to keep a lawn green, control grub damage and reduce weeds; irrigation tuned to what a particular property actually drinks; and hardscapes in stone and paver — walkways, walls, steps, patios, driveways — set so they look like they were always there. Spring cleanups open the beds once the frost lets go, fall cleanups put them to bed again, and when the storms track in off the hills toward Beaver Lake, the plows go out and the drives come clean before the town is awake. The satisfaction is a plain, physical one: an edge cut true, a step that sits level under a boot, pavement showing black at first light.
