Advanced Tree Service

About Advanced Tree Service

Derry began as Nutfield, named for the nut trees on its ridges, so tending trees here is an old habit. Advanced Tree Service spends the green months up in the canopy over the neighborhoods off Chester Road and out toward Island Pond, thinning crowns so the wind moves through instead of pushing against. Pruning done in the right season pays out for years; a removal done right hands a yard back bigger than it was. When August thunder rolls up from the south and lays a maple across a fence line, the trucks head out and the wreck is gone before the ground dries. Come evening the rail trail fills with walkers and nobody thinks about the trees at all, which is exactly the idea.
