About Crescent Lawn Services LLC

Crescent Lawn Services LLC tends the dooryards and hill-farm lawns of Cornish, New Hampshire, where the Connecticut River bends past the long covered bridge and Ascutney keeps watch from the Vermont bank. Lawn care in this valley means reading the ground you're given — the sloped yard, the deep shade under old sugar maples, the place where a kept lawn has to meet the hayfield and needs a clean line drawn between them. There is a plain, physical satisfaction in the finished pass: stripes laid true across the grass, trimmed borders tight around granite steps and fence posts, clippings swept off the walk before the truck pulls away. Valley summers push the grass up fast after every rain, and the work is simply coming back, week after week, so the yard holds its shape all the way to the first hard frost.
