About Gordon T Burke & Sons Inc.

From West Side Road the Saco runs black between white banks all winter, and Cathedral Ledge keeps its ice where the sun never quite reaches. Gordon T Burke & Sons Inc. works that stretch of Conway when the valley fills in — plowing, clearing dooryards, hauling piles back before the next round comes through. Storms here carry weight, wet at the bottom and dry on top, and they have no interest in what day of the week it is. The job comes down to a drive you can back out of and a path you can carry groceries up. Simple enough to describe, and the whole of a Conway winter to actually do.
