About New Yard Landscape and Hardscape Design

New Yard Landscape and Hardscape Design works the granite-boned ground of the Merrimack valley, out of Hopkinton and across the greater Concord region. The work begins where a place is still all brush and slope — land cleared, stumps pulled, sitework opened for a new house or garage, septic systems set, drainage and trenching cut so the water goes where it should instead of where it wants. Then comes the shaping: driveways graded and hardpacked, retaining walls stacked into a hillside, private roadways, yards expanded and leveled into something a family can walk barefoot across. There is a real satisfaction in the hour raw till turns into a finished yard — the grade running true, the ground drying clean, the pale New Hampshire light lying flat across a place that finally holds its shape. Bedford to Warner, Henniker to Chichester, the land is left ready to be built on and lived on.
