Brochu Nursery and Landscaping

About Brochu Nursery and Landscaping

Concord lies in the wide floor of the Merrimack valley, where river sand gives out against granite ledge and the pine hills close in on the brick of Main Street — and both halves of that ground turn up in the work. Brochu Nursery and Landscaping raises its own plants at the nursery and carries them out to yards around the state: plant installation, soil preparation, hydroseeding and sod, bark mulch and stone by the bulk load. Their crews build in stone as well as green, setting patios, walkways and driveways, retaining walls, granite and firepits into yards that had only slope before. There is a plain satisfaction in a lawn that comes in even from seed, in a mulch edge drawn true against the grass, in the spring and fall cleanups that leave a place looking rested. Then the valley goes white and hard, and the plows are out ahead of the light, opening driveways so Concord can get on with its morning.
