About Ultimate Outdoors

Route 4 runs east out of Concord into Chichester past farm stands and hayfields, and behind them the Suncook River takes its slow bends through the trees. Ultimate Outdoors keeps the lawns of that in-between country cut and cared for — mowing, string trimming, edging drives and walks, mulching beds, and the full clear-out come spring and again in fall. Chichester grass grows on good open ground with plenty of sky over it, and it shows; a lawn here can be made genuinely handsome with little more than timing and a sharp blade. Timing is the trick — cutting before it gets away, raking before the leaves mat down. The reward is a yard that sits right in its own landscape, tidy against all that open field.
