About YardGuard

Spring takes its time reaching Chatham: the Cold River runs high and loud with snowmelt, and Basin Pond holds its ice long after the towns to the south have turned green. YardGuard brings lawn care to this far corner of Carroll County, standing watch over ground that has spent the whole winter buried. When the first warm week finally arrives, the season opens with a first mowing, edges pulled back into line, and the lawn handed back to its household. By June the grass stands even and green against the woodline, a small, well-ordered domain at the foot of the mountains. A guarded yard, in Chatham, is one that is ready for the long light of summer.
