Sugaree Gardens

About Sugaree Gardens

Mist lifts off the Connecticut River at dawn and drifts up over Charlestown's long Main Street, where houses from the 1700s and 1800s stand in a stately line beneath old shade trees. Down by the water, the stockade walls of the Fort at No. 4 recall the town's frontier beginnings. Sugaree Gardens provides lawn care in Charlestown, mowing and trimming the yards that front this historic street and the broad river flats. The valley soil grows grass deep and green, and keeping it handsome means an even cut and borders that respect the brick walks and granite steps. On an early June morning, with the mist burning off and robins working the grass just cut, the whole town looks cared for.
