About Devine Tree and Lawn, LLC

Fog sits on the Merrimack floodplain until the sun clears the pines on the far bank, and in Boscawen the first work of the day is done in that grey river light — cool, damp, quiet enough to hear the saw start. Devine Tree and Lawn works in that hour and the long bright ones after it: tree care for the tall white pines and old maples leaning over dooryards along King Street, lawn care for the flat sandy ground that greens up fast once June gets going. The pleasure of it is in the after — brush hauled off, a canopy opened so light falls where it should, grass cut clean to its edges and holding a straight line down to the road. It is plain, physical work on a plain, handsome stretch of New Hampshire, and it shows on a property for weeks. They serve Boscawen and the surrounding towns across southern New Hampshire.
