East of the village, Belmont opens out into fields along Route 106 — big sky, long views, and a wind that keeps the mower deck clean. We handle the cutting out that way and in the neighborhoods behind it: weekly passes, crisp borders, and the October push when the maples let go all at once and every yard vanishes under orange. Bringing a lawn back from a full leaf fall is one of the more satisfying afternoons in this line of work. The spring version is the same pleasure in reverse. Grass moves fast here between May and September, and we keep pace with it.
