About Black Moose Chimney and Stove, LLC

On the coldest Antrim nights woodsmoke hangs low over Gregg Lake and the whole town smells faintly of a stove doing its job. Black Moose Chimney and Stove, LLC handles the other half of that winter equation — plowing the drive so the wood can get delivered and the car can get out, clearing the path to the door, sanding the stretch of ice that forms in the same spot every year. Weather comes over the Monadnock hills in a hurry here, and the clearing has to keep pace with it. There is something good about arriving at dawn to a buried driveway and leaving it wide open behind you. Storm after storm, all winter.
