About Powdermill Property Services

There's a week in Alton when the last of winter's sand still grits the driveway and the grass has already made up its mind to grow — and that is when the plow comes off and the mower goes on. Powdermill Property Services works that hinge and every one after it: spring and fall cleanups, sticks and tree debris gathered and carried off, driveways swept clean of sand, then mowing laid down in stripes that follow the land as it tilts toward Alton Bay. The warm months turn toward making things — mulch spread dark against fresh sod, patios and walkways set true, a deck brought back to its grain, a landscape designed to fit the slope it actually sits on. Then the light goes short over the lakes region hills, the first storms come down off the ridges, and the plowing starts again — a driveway opened wide and clean before the town has finished waking.
