On a June morning in Alton village the light comes up off the water first, then finds the front yards along Main Street one at a time. Lushious Lawn Care is already moving by then — cutting, trimming close along fence posts and mailbox stakes, sweeping the clippings off the walk so the job ends tidier than it began.
