The Merrymeeting River runs through Alton on its way to the lake, and the land along it goes from mud to green in about three weeks each spring. Huckins Tree & Landscape works the whole arc of that year: mowing, trimming and edging through the growing months, cleanups in spring and again when the maples let go, then plowing and clearing once driveways start filling in. Winter here is long enough that a plow route becomes a kind of neighborhood. Summer is short enough that a mowing schedule has to actually be kept. Both are worth doing right, and Alton notices either way.
