3 Dogs & A Girl Landscaping

About 3 Dogs & A Girl Landscaping

A western meadowlark, Nebraska's state bird, sings from a fence post at the edge of Yankee Hill as July noon presses down on the land. With a name like 3 Dogs & A Girl Landscaping, it's hard not to grin before the mower even starts, and the lawn care here carries that same easy cheer. Midsummer heat makes the tall roadside grass lean and hiss in the wind, but a tended yard should look the opposite: short, even and calm. Edges get cut sharp enough to notice from the street, and the turf is left ready for bare feet. The favorite moment comes at the end, one look back over a yard that seems built for a game of fetch.
