About HDE Services LLC

The Wood River curls in close to town on its way toward the Platte, and on a cold morning its shallow water runs half-covered in ice under the cottonwood breaks lining its banks. HDE Services LLC starts early along the blocks closest to the river, plowing driveways before the frost lifts, blade set to leave a clean edge rather than a rough scrape. Sandhill cranes crowd the Platte bottoms by the thousands come spring, but in deep winter that whole river valley goes still, just wind moving through bare branches. A driveway worked down to bare concrete while the rest of the yard still holds its snow makes a small square of order in an otherwise white landscape. By the time Wood River's few streets are fully awake, most of that work is already finished and mostly unnoticed, which is exactly how it should go.
