The bay doors at Johnson Welding stay open to the cold through most of a Wakefield winter, and the concrete apron out front needs clearing so a trailer can back a piece of equipment in for repair. The lot, the apron, and the walk to the office door all get pushed clean on the same round, kept open for whatever truck or trailer needs to pull in next. Late in the afternoon, with the shop lights still on, the lot outside sits clear and ready for the next job to arrive.
