Rural Remodel

About Rural Remodel

Down in Nebraska's far southeast corner, Verdon meets winter quietly: a skin of ice on Verdon Lake, frost feathering the windows, Highway 73 a gray ribbon between white fields. Rural Remodel brings snow removal to this small Richardson County village, opening drives and walks so the day can start on time. Storms here often carry wet snow up from the south, heavy enough to bow the cedar boughs, and they reward whoever shows up early with a plan. Drives are pushed down to the surface, walks shoveled square, and the stiff ridge the road plow leaves at the end of a driveway gets knocked flat. When the sun clears the hills and the lake begins to glint, Verdon is open and going.
