Green Expectations

About Green Expectations

Valparaiso is small enough that one overnight snow can bury every driveway in the village before the first truck heads out on the county road, and Green Expectations is the crew that gets those drives clear again. Built as a landscaping outfit, this company carries its growing-season attention to detail into winter, clearing driveways and walkways with the same eye it otherwise gives a flower bed in June. The village sits in open Saunders County farm country, where a storm can drop snow evenly across town and field alike with nothing in between to break the wind. Properties get plowed and shoveled clear, walkways kept safe for anyone heading out the door on an icy morning. There is a rhythm to it, not unlike a planting schedule: show up ahead of worsening conditions rather than after them.
