About Spalding Irrigation, Inc.

The Cedar River takes its time through Spalding, and by July the valley glitters with water thrown in long arcs across the cornfields. Spalding Irrigation, Inc. carries that respect for water down to the scale of a front yard, caring for lawns so they hold their color when Greeley County heat leans hard on the afternoon. A well-tended lawn here is a small green argument against August: thick underfoot, evenly mown, its edges laid true along the walk. As evening comes on gold across the valley, the grass looks cool before the sun has even let go. It is patient work, done in a town that knows exactly what water is worth.
