Turner's Lawn Care

About Turner's Lawn Care

The first frost in Sidney usually beats the calendar, silvering the grass some mid-October morning while the sun is still behind the eastern rise. Turner's Lawn Care works right through it — the final mowings taken low, the leaves gathered up, the edges tightened one last time before everything goes dormant. Through the summer it is the steady list: mow, trim, edge, keep the clippings off the walk. This is an old road town, laid out where the trail to the Black Hills once pulled up out of the valley, and the yards along those streets keep their own quiet order. Doing that well is the whole of it.
