About A+ Tree Service

Before the sun clears Scotts Bluff, the plow truck from A+ Tree Service is already working the alleys behind Scottsbluff's older streets, the ones lined with cottonwoods the crew knows from summer trimming. Winter here comes down off the Wildcat Hills in gusts that pile drifts against fence lines faster than they can be cleared, so the work starts in the dark and keeps going until every driveway on this side of the bluff is scraped to bare concrete. What began as a tree outfit—limbs down, branches iced shut—turned naturally toward the same streets in January, clearing walks and lots with the same steady patience the crew brings to a stubborn cottonwood limb. By the time the valley fog burns off the sugar beet fields east of town, the curb lines are sharp and the sidewalks along Broadway are walkable again. It is unglamorous work, done low and early, but there is a real satisfaction in a driveway you can see your reflection in by seven a.m.
