About JB Lawn Care

Late afternoon in Pilger arrives slantwise off the North Fork of the Elkhorn, and the shade of the town's young trees reaches a little further every summer. JB Lawn Care works the village in that light — the long open lots, the corners a mower can't quite swing into, the tight collars around mailboxes and posts. The good part is the last pass, when the stripes finally run true with the street and the clippings get swept back off the sidewalk instead of left to drift. A town that built itself back does not take a level, well-kept yard for granted. Ball field to boulevard, the work is plain and it shows: green, trimmed, squared off, and finished before supper.
