About Railyard 26

Highway 26 carries traffic through Oshkosh along a valley the emigrant wagon trails once followed west, and on a summer evening the light lies long across the bluffs south of town. Railyard 26 works Oshkosh in both halves of the year: lawn care through the bright, dry Panhandle summer, snow removal once winter blows in. In the warm months that means mowing and trimming, keeping grass even in a climate where every green yard is earned. In the cold months it means plowed driveways and shoveled walks after storms push across Garden County. Either way, the finished job carries a railroad-straight neatness, a yard set right in a town where the horizon is the longest thing in view.
