About Stolberg Landscaping

Florence sits at Omaha's north edge along a bend of the Missouri, its old mill and the brick streets around it holding a kind of quiet that the busier parts of the city lose after a storm passes. Stolberg Landscaping works those older blocks where driveways are shorter but the yards run deep, clearing a path from the garage to the street before ice has a chance to set into the gravel and brick underneath. The river brings its own damp cold to this stretch of the city, heavier than the dry chill further inland, so a shovel and a broom finish what a small plow blade leaves behind on the tighter drives. Walkways up to the old front porches get cleared and salted, since a lot of these houses sit close enough to the sidewalk that a slick step is the first thing a visitor meets. By midmorning, the historic part of the neighborhood looks like the storm simply skipped its narrow streets.
