Phillip's Mowing

About Phillip's Mowing

Millard was a railroad town of its own before Omaha grew out to surround it, and the southwest corner of the city still keeps some of that small-town grid among its newer streets. Phillip's Mowing does what its name says across Omaha: it cuts grass. September rains give lawns a second wind after the summer slump, and that cool-season flush needs a steady hand on the mower to stay ahead of it. Clean, overlapping passes, a neat trim along fences and beds, and a crisp line at the drive mark the difference between a lawn that's merely short and one that looks kept. On a bright fall afternoon, fresh stripes and long shadows tell the block the yard has been seen to.
