Martinez Yard Services

About Martinez Yard Services

South Omaha runs on hills that catch people off guard — Vinton Street climbing away, Spring Lake Park folding down toward the bottoms. Martinez Yard Services mows those slopes and the level blocks around them, trimming, edging and carrying the clippings off so the walks stay open. August afternoons hold heat between the brick buildings well past supper, and the work goes on inside it. A yard cut against a grade takes more care than a flat one; the pass has to stay steady or the whole lawn tells on you. Steady is exactly what the crew leaves behind.
