Deck Bros

About Deck Bros

At four on a January morning the Missouri is a dark seam between Nebraska and Iowa, and the wind coming off it finds every street in Omaha. Snow removal is work for that hour, while the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge still glows over the ice and the city has yet to start its cars. Deck Bros clears snow here, opening driveways and front walks down to bare pavement so the first footsteps of the day land on something solid. By the time the east goes gray over the Iowa bluffs, a shoveled path to the door is the quiet proof that someone was out in the cold. Plain, early, frozen-fingered labor, with a clean stretch of concrete to show for it.
