About Augusta Lawn Care of Gretna

Out past the last stoplight in Gretna the land tips down toward the Platte bottoms, and in October the light comes in low and gold across the stubble. Augusta Lawn Care of Gretna runs its route through those weeks when a lawn needs two things at once — a clean cut and a clear surface — mowing, then edging, then hauling off the leaves before the first hard frost seals them to the turf. The cottonwoods along the river drop all at once, and a yard that looked fine on Friday can be buried by Monday, so timing is most of the job. Cut lines are held straight even when the ground rolls, because a slope is no excuse for a wandering pass. By November the grass goes gray-green and dormant, and the yards on those ridge streets sit tidy underneath, ready for whatever spring sends up the valley.
