About Aok services

Benson's strip along Maple Street empties out late — the bars and music venues finally quiet — and that's when Aok services runs its plows, clearing lots and curb lanes while the block sleeps so the morning coffee crowd isn't parking in a foot of snow. Driveways on the surrounding streets get the same overnight pass, walkways shoveled and salted before anyone's up to notice the work even happened. Headlights cut through blowing snow on empty streets while the rest of Omaha waits out the storm indoors. By sunrise the lot lines are visible again and the sidewalks are bare, ready for Benson to open like nothing happened.
