Green Grass Company

About Green Grass Company

August out here can bake a lawn to straw in ten days, and then one thunderstorm rolls up out of the southwest and the whole town greens again overnight. Green Grass Company works with that swing rather than against it — cutting higher when the heat sits on, mowing more often after rain, trimming and edging so the shape holds either way. The Elkhorn Valley grows corn and beans right up to the edge of town, and the same ground grows thick turf if somebody keeps after it. Clippings get cleared and the walks come out clean, so the yard looks deliberate instead of merely alive. Spring and fall cleanups fill out both ends of the calendar.
