Reinke's Farm & City Services

About Reinke's Farm & City Services

Reinke's Farm & City Services works both sides of the name it carries — the farm lanes running out past Neligh's grain bins and the city streets inside town, often on the same snowy morning. Antelope County's open ground lets the wind build long drifts across a section-line road fast, so a farmstead entrance can need clearing before the town streets even get their first pass. Once the crew turns back toward Neligh, the work shifts to something tighter and more careful — narrow driveways, close-set houses, walks that need to be scraped clean rather than just pushed wide. That range, from open field to town sidewalk, means the crew reads a plow route by what kind of ground it's crossing, not just by the map. By the time Neligh's morning traffic picks up, both the county roads leading in and the streets inside town have been cleared, the whole approach to the place opened up at once.
