About Lanes Tree Service, Lyons NE

Logan Creek bends past Lyons, and in January its banks hold a line of bare cottonwoods drawn in charcoal against a pink sunrise. Lanes Tree Service, a tree service working out of Lyons, handles lawn care while the season is green and snow removal once the creek freezes over. After a night of snow, an opened drive shows as a dark lane between white shoulders, ready before the first pickup heads out to the fields. In summer the winter work gives way to the mower, and a yard comes back level and even under the big Burt County sky. There is honest satisfaction in both: a path you can walk and a lawn you want to sit on.
