Newton's Lawn Care

About Newton's Lawn Care

In October the boulevards on the south side of Lincoln go amber overhead, and the lawns beneath them spend six weeks half-buried before anyone can see the grass again. Newton's Lawn Care works through that stretch — mowing later into the fall than people expect, cutting leaves down with the grass so a yard never disappears under them. The College View streets are lined with mature trees and old plantings, which makes every yard a slightly different problem of shade, roots and tight turns. Done well, the reward is a lawn that comes out of autumn still green at the crown and edged clean along the walk, ready for the first hard frost off the prairie. That kind of finish is worth the extra pass, and it is the one the neighbors notice.
