Greg's Grass

About Greg's Grass

Sunday evening in one of Lincoln's older neighborhoods: sprinklers ticking, a screen door slapping shut, a ballgame on a porch radio, and big shade trees arching over the street. Greg's Grass is lawn care on that human scale, the kind of work a neighbor notices while walking the dog past. The grass is cut to one even height, the clippings are swept off the walk, and the line along the curb is trimmed true. Nothing showy, just the plain satisfaction of grass that looks looked-after. As the sky fades pink behind the rooftops, the lawn lies cool and quiet, ready for the week ahead.
