Adriel's Snow Removal

About Adriel's Snow Removal

After a night of snow a long straight road is one white line with mailboxes for punctuation. Adriel's Snow Removal starts on that line early around Lincoln: driveways opened from the road to the door, farm lanes broken wide enough for a pickup and a trailer, walks cleared and treated where boots come and go. Wind is the real work, since a lane opened at five can close by eight, so the second trip is part of the plan rather than an apology. Banks are pushed back instead of piled high, because next week's storm needs somewhere to go too. When the sun finally comes up over all that white, the way out is already there.
