About Steve's Yard Care

Before the swings at Central Park have a single footprint in the snow, Steve's Yard Care is already working the block, shovel and blower going house to house through La Vista's older residential streets. These are older lots with narrower drives, so a lot of the work here is done by hand, cutting a clean edge along a sidewalk instead of just clearing the middle. A quiet overnight snowfall can leave a whole neighborhood looking the same shade of white. Being the reason one driveway stands out bare and dry while the rest of the block waits its turn is a small thing, and it's the whole point of starting early. Kids walking to the elementary school a few blocks over get a shoveled path instead of packed snow to trudge through, and by mid-morning, with La Vista's streets finally busy again, the block looks like itself.
