Roll Enterprise

About Roll Enterprise

La Vista's streets curl and double back through cul-de-sacs built for a generation of Omaha commuters, and Roll Enterprise runs its plow route along every one of those curves before the first cars pull out for the interstate. The truck follows Twin Creek's low ground, where cold pools thick on winter mornings, clearing driveways and cutting the road's edges tight enough that a school bus can still make the turn. Snow off the open fields to the south tends to drift sideways into these newer subdivisions, filling back in overnight what was clear the evening before. Watching a whole loop of driveways go from buried to bare in a single pass, before the sun is even up over the rooftops, is worth the early start on its own. By the time La Vista's part of the metro starts moving toward Omaha, the route is run and the plow is parked, waiting on the next system to roll through.
