About Root Deep Lawn Care, LLC

Every March the Platte fills with sandhill cranes and the valley south of Kearney sounds like it is clearing its throat from dawn to dusk. Root Deep Lawn Care, LLC starts its year in that same stirring — core aeration to open packed ground, overseeding into the holes, a first feeding while the soil is cool and willing. The name points at where the real work happens, which is under the blade rather than on top of it: deeper roots, thicker turf, fewer weeds by July. From there it settles into mowing, trimming and weed control right through the long green middle of the season. A lawn tended from the ground up looks different by August, and anyone who has walked barefoot across one knows it immediately.
