Burgett Irrigation

About Burgett Irrigation

When a winter storm passes over Humboldt, the square at the center of town goes hushed and white, its old storefronts standing around it as if waiting for someone to make the first move. Burgett Irrigation makes it, clearing snow off home driveways and sidewalks in this Richardson County town in the far southeast corner of Nebraska. Snow this far southeast can come down heavy and wet, packed tight by the time anyone reaches it, and moving it takes muscle and patience. The payoff is plain: a drive opened edge to edge, a sidewalk scraped to gray, a front door you can reach without wading. In a town built around its square, an open walk is how the day gets going again.
