About HOPGRASSER LLC

Rain arrives in Hickman as tall spring storms out of the southwest, and by the next morning the grass has put on an inch and every yard in town is asking for attention. HOPGRASSER LLC answers that — mowing on the rhythm the season sets, trimming tight to mailboxes and downspouts, edging drives and walks, then clearing the cuttings so the pavement comes back clean. The land here rises and falls in long farm swells between Wagon Train and Stagecoach lakes, and a lawn on a slope has to be read before it is cut. On summer evenings the smell of fresh mowing drifts across whole blocks at once. When autumn comes there are leaves and beds to clear before the first hard freeze locks the ground for good.
